Girls Gone Grey
Thought going grey was a hair nightmare? Think again. It’s the unlikely hair trend of the year, but recently it’s been everywhere. Silver hair hues are taking over, from celebrities to the 20-something at your local coffee shop.
The likes of Kylie Jenner, Zosia Mamet, Rihanna and Kate Moss have all tried the grey hair trend, while the likes of Jean-Paul Gaultier, Gareth Pugh and Chanel have all used grey-haired models in their catwalk shows.
Hair stylists are noticing a rise in requests for this modern hair phenomena, and with some of the amazing looks we’ve spotted, we’re really not surprised.
“Grey is the new blonde! This experimental colour has minimal commitment and will wash out of the hair gradually during a period of two to four weeks depending on the depth of grey reflects”, said celebrity hair stylist and British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Jamie Stevens.
